Eligibility Criteria
Alliance Membership Requirements
To ensure quality and professionalism, WTTA has defined specific eligibility criteria for Alliance Members to maintain industry standards and credibility.
- Government Registration: : Tour operators seeking membership must possess valid government registrations such as GST, Incorporation, MSME, or any other relevant government certification.
- Physical Office Location : The tour operator must have a physical office location.
- Team Composition : The business should have a minimum of two team members in addition to the owner, forming a team of at least three individuals.
These requirements ensure that Alliance Members are well-established and equipped to contribute to and benefit from WTTA membership.
Membership Requirements
Institutional & DMC Eligibility
Institutional and DMC members are required to meet specific standards to ensure consistent quality, active participation, and meaningful contribution to the association.
- Ethical and Quality Business Support : Institutional/DMC partners must demonstrate a commitment to providing ethical and high-quality business support within their organization. FAM Trip Participation: Members are required to attend at least one Familiarization (FAM) trip per year and must also conduct one FAM trip annually at a hotel or DMC destination.
- WTTA Promotion to B2C Partners : Members should actively recommend the WTTA as a preferred association to their B2C (Business to Consumer) partners.
- Trade Fair Promotion : Members are encouraged to promote and recommend WTTA at trade fairs across various continents as an Institutional/DMC partner.
